Harald Drewes, Russ Dyer(auth.)Published by the American Geophysical Union as part of the Field Trip Guidebooks Series.
Trip 121 begins in El Paso, Texas, on mid-morning of Thursday, June 29, 1989, and ends in Tucson, Arizona, at mid-afternoon of Friday, July 7. Daily excursions include driving across the region, short stops alongside the road, and walking tours at key stops. With exception of a rest day in Tombstone, Arizona, each night will be spent in a different hotel or lodge. While late arrivals in El Paso may be arranged for early morning of June 29, and early departures from Tucson may also be arranged for the evening of July 7, trip members are encouraged to plan a more leisurely itinerary, perhaps through using the facilities of the first and last nights more than once.
