Study on European terminology in adult learning for a common language and common understanding and monitoring of the sector. — Call Number: EAC 11/2008. An up-to-date common language is a prerequisite to overcoming the misunderstandings and lack of comparable data which impede monitoring of the sector. In accordance with the terms of reference, the purpose of this glossary is to support the European Commission, all Member States and other European countries covered by the study and stakeholders in the sector in monitoring and analysing the adult learning sector in Europe by improving the quality and comparability of data.
